Pilates is an effective exercise program for everyone. It realigns the body and retrains the back, stomach and pelvic floor muscles to work in harmony to create a strong core. All this improves posture, lengthening and toning muscles throughout the body, creating a fabulous silhouette in men and women. Pilates is also recommended by many doctors and physiotherapists to rehabilitate and strengthen the back and its supporting muscles.

"Which class is suitable for me?"- How to pick the best class for you...

Absolute beginner - no pilates experience

Level 1 - attended a beginners workshop or around 5 hours of classes and is still trying to get to grips with the pilates principles and fundamentals

Level 2 - depends on the individual, but generally 10hours plus of classes, having grasped the fundamentals is able to maintain the principles whilst adding in more resistance

Level 3 - A regular class attendee who is confident doing a larger repertoire of exercises and working with more challenging options.

Level 4 - Intermediate level. Someone who is fairly advanced in their practice which has developed over a long period of time with regular classes. A greater range of flexibility and upper body strength is required at this level (and a high pain threshold!!)

Monday Evening ( 6:30 - 7:30) - levels 1-4 (not suitable for absolute beginners, )
Monday Evening ( 7:45 - 8:45 ) - levels 1-4 (beginners welcome if you aren't able to make the Tuesday classes)
Monday Evening ( 9:00 - 10:00 ) - PILATES FLOW Levels 2-4(not suitable for beginners or level 1)
Wednesday Afternoon (1:00 - 2:00 ) - All Levels

St John's Primary School, Sports Centre, Chorlton, Manchester

Tuesday Evening ( 5.30 - 6.30 ) - PILATES FUNDAMENTALS levels 1&2 plus absolute beginners, also ideal for post rehabilitation and post natal
Tuesday Evening ( 6:45 - 7:45 ) - Levels 1-3 plus absolute beginners (also Ideal for rehabilitation)
Tuesday Evening ( 8:00 - 9:00) - Levels 3&4 Regulars / Intermediate

Cost / Booking

Drop-in price is £6

New Block Booking prices are avaialble. Sessions can be used at the St. John's / St. Clement's EnergyFlowFitness classes and there is NO TIME LIMIT on a block booking.

£55.00 for 10 sessions ( = £5.50 per class )

These are all drop-in sessions, no booking required.
Please bring a mat, water and a small towel along to the class. Mats will be available to buy at each session.
