Pilates is an effective exercise program for everyone. It realigns the body and retrains the back, stomach and pelvic floor muscles to work in harmony to create a strong core. All this improves posture, lengthening and toning muscles throughout the body, creating a fabulous silhouette in men and women. Pilates is also recommended by many doctors and physiotherapists to rehabilitate and strengthen the back and its supporting muscles.

New Block Booking prices are avaialble. Sessions can be used at the St. John's / St. Clement's EnergyFlowFitness classes and there is NO TIME LIMIT on a block booking.

These are all drop-in sessions, no booking required.
Please bring a mat, water and a small towel along to the class. Mats will be available to buy at each session.

Most women dream of returning to their original shape after pregnancy. Learn how to not only regain your original figure but improve upon it. Make your pregnancy far more comfortable and strengthen and support your body throughout. Protect yourself further injury caused by strain from breast feeding,buggy pushing, baby on hip whilst cooking tea etc etc......!. Also how to strengthen your pelvic floor after the rigours of birth. Babies also welcome to attend!
We will ask you to fill out a questionnaire prior to attending this workshop so that we can tailor the workshop appropriately in advance
3.5 hours inc 1hour 45mins of pre-series discussion, preparation and training, a shortbreak and then approx 1 hour 45mins for the full series.

We have both been lucky enough to work with Lolita San Miguel recently. Lolita trained directly with and was certified to teach by Joseph Pilates himself. We will go over points of technique and some of the more challenging exercises in the series then after a short break we will go through the Full Series of 35 exercises as Joseph originally intended them to be taught. Open to all levels but not recommended for absolute beginners!!

After having so many people referred by their osteopath or physiotherapist, we felt a workshop was needed designed with them in mind to bridge the gap between the advice of their remedial practitioner and a group Pilates class. Joseph Pilates referred to his programme as a “ system of corrective exercise “. We will be looking at the various Pilates exercises and how appropriate they are for your specific needs. Also how you can tailor our group classes to these needs. We can look at the use of posture and core strength during your everyday life, to improve your back and quality of life.
