Personal Training

what does personal training involve?Today's hectic pace of life often means it's not always easy to fit exercise in, many of my clients chose a trainer to help them slot in exercise without having to take time out of their day to travel to a club or gym. Also it gives them the freedom to have the session of their choice when they want, not when a health club timetable provides it. Other clients felt too uncomfortable with their shape and appearance to exercise in public and want to get started and learn how to exercise effectively. Everyone has different requirements which is why we always begin with a 45 minute verbal assessment to discuss all aspect of your health, diet and fitness. This is followed by a one hour physical assessment and posture check to discover your individual strengths and weaknesses, and any imbalances within the body. Personal Training can, but does not have to, mean two sessions a week for ever! I often do one-off sessions with men and women who want to try out a particular form of exercise before going along to a class. Others have occasional sessions to reinforce and develop exercise that they are already participating in. I have worked in mixed and ladies only clubs at club level, regional and national levels. My aim is to ensure all my clients fully understand the activities I give them and how they will benefit. No two sessions are ever the same, but every session focuses on improving posture, strength flexibility & tone. |
